<p>華府智庫「昆西盡責經綸研究所」（Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft）旗下雜誌《盡責經綸》（Responsible Statecraft）15日刊出美國政治學者索利斯馬倫（Joseph Solis-Mullen）投稿題為《<a href="https://responsiblestatecraft.org/taiwan-trump/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">台灣遊說集團全面出擊力拚影響川普</a>》（The Taiwan Lobby moves to put a full court press on Trump）的文章，稱台灣擔憂在美國與北京的談判中淪為「籌碼」，聘請了Checkmate Government Relations這間小型遊說公司來對美國政府進行遊說，該公司創辦人Ches McDowell與小唐納德·川普（Donald Trump Jr.）關係密切，《華爾街日報》更封他為<a href="https://www.wsj.com/politics/policy/the-maga-lobbyists-upending-washington-with-mcdonalds-and-bear-hunting-a37e3d06">「華府最炙手可熱的新進說客」（Washington's hottest new lobbyist）</a>。</p>
